Itasca ISD welcomes teacher/coach Eric Low for the 23/24 school year.

Reminder: The sports banquet is a week from today on the 17th. If you plan to attend and eat with the athletes the cost is $15 per plate. There will be a BBQ catered meal served at 6 pm which includes brisket, links, mac and cheese and green beans. We need a final head count by tonight.

CECC EsportsU Tournament at Arlington Esports Arena https://www.itascaisd.org/article/1108034 Our kids joined the walk-on tournament last weekend and competed against other high school teams. They also got to network with College Esports players and College Esports Directors, watched the College Esports grand final and enjoyed a variety of activities. Coach Michael Benson

The last day of KidsQuest has been moved to Wednesday, May 10th.

Elementary Award Day Schedule

Thursday, May 11th- Sophomores and Juniors will be taking their Spring Individuals and Class pictures starting at 9. They were unable to take their pictures due to our early release for bad weather. If you need to order pictures, please use the code EVTFTX29X. If any student (prek-11th) missed both fall and spring picture days, I may call them down to be pictured this day for the yearbook! Thank you all for your continued support! Don't forget to order your yearbook online or bring your $40 cash/check to the school! Deadline to order is May 15th! Yearbooks will have a summer arrival. More details to come on pickup dates/times!

Next Tuesday evening (5/16/23) IHS will be hosting our Senior Awards night. Come out and celebrate your senior(s) starting at 6:00 pm in the SEC. We look forward to celebrating all of their accomplishments with you.

Parents and Guardians, next Monday (5/15/23) IHS will be having our awards and recognition ceremony starting at 8:45 am in the SEC. Students being recognized will receive a letter this week. We hope you can attend and celebrate along with your recognized student. GenTX decision recognition for seniors will follow the awards ceremony.

Parents of high athletes, there is an athletic banquet scheduled for May 17 at 6 pm. we will have a catered BBQ meal for the kids and coaches. If you would like to participate in the meal it is $15 for each person and I need a head count by the 10th. The kids were told last week to get a head count of parents or family members attending. Parents of High School Athletes and band members. On May 17, a doctor will come to the SEC to complete all physicals for incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th graders. Each athlete has been given the necessary forms for this. The cost is $30. Please have your child come with cash and filled out forms that day to complete their physical. Please take advantage of them coming here and let's not wait till the last minute. Thank you!

Itasca ISD has selected a new Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction.

The Itasca FFA 3rd Annual Banquet is only 2 weeks away. On May 19th at 6 pm in the SEC we hope to see all FFA members and their families to celebrate and recognize all of this year's accomplishments. We need you to all RSVP by Monday, May 8th so that we can plan our meal. If you do not RSVP by this date then you will not be able to participate in the meal. Dakota has so graciously volunteered ground beef from her steer to support a taco dinner if everyone can sign up to bring ingredients and sides to support that!
