Itasca ISD experienced an issue yesterday that prevented our phone system from receiving incoming calls. The issue has been resolved by the service provider and we believe that all incoming calls are connecting successfully at this time. Itasca ISD is currently experiencing an issue with inbound phone calls being routed to a number that is not associated with the district. We are working with our service provider to get this corrected as soon as possible. We will provide follow-up once the issue has been resolved.
The 6th grade band concert is this Thursday in the old gym at 1:15.
The 7th, 8th and high school band concert is this Thursday starting at 6:00 in the Special Events Center.
7th grade will start at 6:00, followed shortly by the 8th grade. There will be a small intermission between 8th grade and high school to allow people to come and go. High School will start approximately at 6:45.

Parents/Guardians of Middle School students. Progress Reports were distributed to Middle School students today. Students have Finals Dec 19 and 20. Please encourage your students to focus on their academics and attendance until Dec 20th. Let's be amazing until the last day. GO CATS GO!

Parents and Guardians of Senior Students, we will be hosting our fall FAFSA and information session on Wednesday, December 6th. Sessions will begin every hour on the hour beginning at 2 pm with the last session starting at 6 pm. Sessions will be held in the high school. If you don't make the beginning of the session, don't worry, the remainder of the time you will be able to ask questions, catch up, and begin the FAFSA account creation process.
Parents and Guardians of 10th through 12th grade students. If your student is interested in taking a dual credit course next school year and needs to take the TSI test, their next opportunity is Wednesday, December 6th starting at 1:30 pm in the high school. They have received an email with the link to sign up. Sign-ups will close at the end of the school day on Monday, December 4th. Since we have a 1 pm dismissal that day, students who stay to test will need to make transportation arrangements for after they have completed their test.
Game change: The JV basketball game tonight 12/1 is canceled. The Varsity will play at 6:15 PM.
Itasca Middle School and High School Band will have their Christmas Concert on 12/14/23 starting at 6 pm in the SEC. Middle school will start at 6 pm followed by the high school band who will start shortly after middle school has finished. We hope to see you there.
The JV game on Tuesday 11/28 in Leon has been canceled. The Varsity game will start at 5:00 PM.
Thursday, November 16th is Picture Retakes for Fall Individuals & Seniors! If you have a student who needs to retake their photo or who was absent last picture day, we will be in the SEC on Thursday- starting at 8 to have retakes. We will call for different campuses, as we are ready for them. Middle School will be after 5th period!
NOTICE: Parents, Guardians, and Community Members today at 1:15 pm we will be conducting a district-wide lockdown drill with the assistance of law enforcement. Law enforcement vehicles will be on all campuses with lights on during the drill. It is a practice drill.
We have been informed by Bynum that the Varsity girls basketball game has been canceled for tonight.

In a unanimous vote, the Itasca ISD Board of Trustees officially hired Mrs. Tonya Harris as Superintendent of Itasca ISD during the November 13 Board meeting. Mrs. Harris will officially take on the duties of Superintendent of Schools on Tuesday, November 14.
A reminder from Ms. Martin, Itasca Middle School students will have STAAR Interim Testing next week. Monday 11/13-Math, Tuesday 11/14-Reading, Wednesday 11/15-8th grade Science, 11/16-8th grade Social Studies.
