Itasca ISD has cancelled school on Monday, January 26. Current weather projections suggest that potentially unsafe road conditions will persist through the weekend, moving into early next week.

The Paw Print Press will be adding new voices to our staff this semester. We will be showcasing an 8th grader-Lily Chabot, and two elementary school students- (names to be released soon!) These ladies will be junior staff members of the Paw Print Press! They will be reporting on all things elementary and middle school! Due to the inclement weather that is predicted for this weekend, the basketball game versus Waco Rapaport has been moved to Thursday, 1/22/2026. Girls will play at 6 with the boys game to follow. There will be no JV games.

GAME DAY!!! The JH Boys are back on the court today playing in the West Tournament. A Team's 1st game is against Waco Valor at 9am; B Team's first game is at 10am against Riesel. Come out and support your Wampus Cats!!!

The JH Boys A Team picked up a big district win tonight, 36-21 over the Crawford Pirates. Both teams will be back on the court on Saturday morning in the West Tournament. A Team plays Waco Valor at 9am followed by the B Team playing Riesel at 10am.

Please review the ticket pricing and deadlines carefully, as all dates are firm.
To encourage early planning, prom tickets will be sold using tiered pricing:
Early Bird Tickets: $60
Available now through Friday, February 7
General Admission: $70
Available Monday, February 17 through Monday, March 31
(Sales resume after the school break: 02/09–02/13)
Last Chance Tickets: $80
Available Tuesday, April 1 through Thursday, April 24
Important date! April 24th is the final day to purchase prom tickets.
No tickets will be sold after this date.
This deadline is required because the venue and catering services need an official headcount at least 10 days in advance. Since catering is provided, we must submit final numbers on time to ensure proper accommodations for all attendees.
