Itasca Youth Association baseball and softball registration ends this week. You can sign up each evening at the Old Gym from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Friday February 26th will be the last day so spread the word!

There will NOT be any field events for the JH Wednesday (2/24) meet and the HS Thursday (2/25) meet in Rio Vista. Running starts at 4pm both days. There will be an admission fee of $2 for students and $4 for adults for both days.
Itasca ISD will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday Feb. 23rd. Drinking water will be available, but please bring a refillable bottle from home if at all possible. Thank you, and GO CATS GO!!!

Each year, FFA chapters around the country celebrate National FFA Week. It’s a time to share what FFA is and the impact it has on members every day.
Participate in our celebration of the FFA with dress up days next week!
The Rio Vista JH Track Meet scheduled for Monday (2/22) has been moved to next Wednesday (2/24) with the same starting time of 3:30pm. JH Boys Track will resume normal 6:30am practice on Monday 2/22. The HS track meet @ Rio Vista is still scheduled for Thursday (2/25).
Baseball practice will resume Saturday Feb. 20th from 2pm-4pm!
Rio Vista Softball Tournament scheduled for Friday and Saturday has been postponed for a date to be determined.
Make plans to join us Monday 2/22 for our special guest, Author Dennis Mitchell in the Special Events Center from 6-7pm. Door prizes, light meal and student incentives for attendance will be provided. We will also stream the event on Facebook Live. All community members are invited.

Itasca ISD will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday February 18th as our community and schools are not prepared to open our doors at this time. We will still monitor conditions for Friday, although we could remain closed for the rest of the week. We understand that many of our families and staff will need an opportunity to establish basic needs before we return, and this is of our utmost concern.
