Itasca ISD has been notified that an individual participating in the High School Boys Strength and Conditioning program this morning at Itasca High School has been exposed to COVID-19. Due to this exposure the Athletic Department has suspended the Summer Workout Program for the High School Boys ONLY until July 27th, 2020. Out of an abundance of caution the district has notified all parents of athletes that may have come into contact with that athlete. If you did not receive a phone call this afternoon, your child was not in direct contact with this individual. As always, we will continue to screen students daily and practice health and safety procedures as outlined by the U.I.L., TEA, etc. In effect, the High School Girls, Middle School Girls and Middle School Boys Summer Program will proceed as scheduled.
