The 2022 Itasca Mowana has arrived. Pick-up dates will be Monday, July 11 from 3 to 7, Tuesday, July 12 from 3 to 7 and Wednesday, July 13 from 3 to 7. We will be in the front foyer of the high school. A limited amount of extra copies have been ordered. If you have any questions please contact Pam Willman at pwillman@itascaisd.net. Yearbooks are $40 each.
IMPORTANT TEA UPDATE REGARDING THE AVAILABILITY OF STAAR 3-8 RESULTS IN THE FAMILY PORTAL
Important information for accessing your student's STAAR scores!! The April and May End-of-Course (High School), the TELPAS, the TELPAS Alternate, and the STAAR Alternate 2 assessment results are available in the Family Portal now. The May grades 3-8 results will be available June 24th. Please contact your student's campus with questions. Hope you are all having a great summer!

3.Scroll down the page to find the blue box titled "Family Portal"
4.Log in with your student's Unique Student Access Code or use the Access Code Look-up feature also located in the blue box
5.Learn about your student's performance, including how questions were answered, and how you can provide additional support at home.
Itasca High School STAAR EOC Testing will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday of this week.
Itasca High School will not be hosting Summer School today, June 20th, in observance of Juneteenth. Tomorrow ,Tuesday, June 21st, we will begin STAAR EOC retesting for English I; Wednesday, we will test Algebra I in the morning followed by Biology I; Thursday, we will test English II.

In Observance of Juneteenth, there will be no Summer School, Monday, June 20.
If your child/children will be entering the 7th grade for the 2022-2023 school year and have not had their required Meningococcal or Tdap booster, please follow up with their physician or the health department (254-580-2140) to make sure they are up to date prior to starting school in August. These immunizations are typically given between 11-12 years of age. They are considered delinquent if they enter 7th grade without them. The school nurse will need a copy of the students updated immunization record after receiving the immunizations. It can be faxed to 254-687-2637, dropped off at the school office, or emailed to srea@itascaisd.net. Feel free to email nurse with any questions.

2022 Updated Summer Band Schedule
July 25th -26th -- Drum Majors and Drill Sergeants need to report 8:00-11:00 a.m.
July 27th-28th -- Incoming freshmen and Drill Sergeants need to report 8:00-11:30 a.m.
July 29th -- All IHS Band Members report 8:00-11:30 a.m.
Aug. 1st-5th – 8:00-11:30 a.m.
Aug. 8th-12th–All IHS Band Members times TBA. Most likely 6:00-9:00pm
Aug. 15th-16th – All IHS Band Members times TBA. Most likely 6:00-9:00pm
DRUMLINE:
All percussion will also meet July 25th-29th 12:30-2pm. Please keep lunch in mind for these days if you need to bring it with you.
Snare, tenor, and bass drums: Please show up on July 25th at least 30 minutes early to fit harnesses. If you do not come early, expect to stay late.
Some times could change, depending on IHS Athletics' schedule. The dates will not change.
Always bring water or Gatorade to have with you at all times.

Seniors we will be taking the traditional Senior Class picture in caps and gowns on the steps of the Methodist Church tomorrow afternoon. Please bring your regalia with you to school tomorrow. We will practice for Baccalaureate at 3rd Day following the group pictures.
Senior Parents you are invited and encouraged to attend our Senior Awards program tomorrow, Thursday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m. in the SEC. All seniors will be recognized for their achievements.
