Injury Update on Aydan Villarreal
October 12, 2024
Itasca, Texas
Itasca ISD would like to provide an update on the condition of Aydan Villarreal, a beloved student athlete who sustained an injury during a recent football game. After thorough medical evaluation, doctors have diagnosed Aydan with what's being called a “Spinal Shock.” Thankfully, there is no evidence of concussion, fractures, or permanent spinal damage.
The medical team is optimistic about Aydan’s recovery and has expressed hope for a full return to health. Though the situation remains delicate, Aydan’s resilience and the support of his family, friends, and teammates will no doubt aid in his rehabilitation.
The entire Itasca ISD family will continue to keep Aydan and the Villarreal family in our thoughts and prayers as they navigate this challenging time. We remain united in our support for Aydan and his recovery.
For further updates or inquiries, please contact Itasca ISD at 254-687-2922
