Parents and guardians of elementary and high school students. Registration packets are now available. You can come by today, Monday, and Tuesday from 8 am until 3:30 pm. We will also have the packets at the back-to-school fair tomorrow.

Don't forget that the Itasca ISD Back-to-School Fair is happening this Saturday, August 12th, from 9:00-11:00 in the SEC!! Free haircuts, free school supplies, free vision screenings, games, food, bounce house, meet your teachers, meet community businesses, and so much more!! We hope to see you all there!!!

Parents and Guardians of high school students. We are still working on finalizing student schedules. Those reflected in student or parent portal may not accurately reflect the schedule they will have starting the first day of school. Thank you for your understanding.

Attention Parents!! If your child has Diabetes, Seizures or Allergies requiring use of an EpiPen, I will need a new Action plan signed by the physician for the 2023-2024 school year. In order for a student to carry an inhaler on them, I will need an Asthma action plan for the 2023-2024 school year. If the student needs to carry the inhaler themselves, I will need an authorization for student to carry on self form signed by the physician. If your student takes routine medications that need to be administered during school hours, I will need a new Medication authorization form for the 2023-2024 school year signed by the physician prior to me being able to administer the medication(s). Lastly, I will not be able to administer any over the counter medications unless the medication is brought from home and I have a signed OTC form signed by parent/guardian. If your student has frequent headaches and you'd like to keep some in my office, feel free to bring an unopened bottle of pain reliever to the office or Back to school fair and I can provide you with the required permission form. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I will have extra copies of all forms available at the Back to school fair on Saturday.

Middle School registration fair today 12:30-3:30 and tomorrow 5-7. Incoming 8th graders will need to select their CTE course, first come first serve! Please be sure to bring proof of residency.

Summer Band Schedule 2023 July 20-21 — Drill sgts 8:00-11 :OOam July 24-25 — Freshmen/drill sgts 6:00-8:30pm July 26-28 — full band 6:00-8:30pm July 31-Aug 4 — full band 6:00-8:30 pm Aug 7-15 -TBD Percussion camp July 20-21, 24-25 Reminder, this is a requirement for this class. Let me know if you need to be out any of these days. Failure to show up will lead to your schedule being changed. Please bring water/gatorade to practice. You will not be permitted to have caffeine. Reminder: STAAR EOC re-testing this week for any student who did not pass the staar test. The test are starting at 8 am on their respective days listed below. 6/20 - Algebra 1 6/21 - English 2, Biology, and US History 6/22 - English 1

A Public Meeting of the Itasca ISD District Education Advisory Committee will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in the Itasca ISD Library, 123 N, College St., Itasca, TX.

Itasca ISD will not be holding summer school classes on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

To clarify a misunderstanding in reference to summer workouts. All current (2023–2024) 7–12 graders are welcome to attend workouts. According to UIL guidelines, all current 6th graders cannot attend.
